In efforts of minimizing non-essential purchase order shipments to the University’s receiving areas and closed buildings, departments are urged to cancel open purchase orders for non-essential items that have been placed within the last 60 days by Wednesday, March 25, 2020. Please notify suppliers of your cancellations

  • N95 Masks
  • Hand sanitizers (esp. bottles under 64 oz)
  • Nitrile gloves

Where possible, items in BearBuy may have been flagged as LIMITED AVAILABILITY or in a few cases, the entire Supplier's catalog has been marked as Check for Availability

Departments are faced with the decision of canceling events and projects, requiring cancellation or termination of contracts. Depending upon the terms of the contract, UC Berkeley Supply Chain Management may be able to provide guidance and/or assist in communications to Suppliers.
Please  contact your buyer  as soon as possible when your department may be heading in the direction of canceling an agreement.
